My favorites so far have been Eller's chapters and Carrier's chapter about science. Tarico's chapter was also very good.Arizona Atheisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17377658912951142427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882699495059104312.post-18218220588438288782010-04-12T14:14:14.505-04:002010-04-12T14:14:14.505-04:00I ordered my copy today along with Loftus' &qu...I ordered my copy today along with Loftus' "Why I Became an Atheist: A Former Preacher Rejects Christianity." In the OT, God certainly had anger management problems, but the worst he'd do to you would be to take away your stuff, exile you from your homeland, kill you... or, if he got really pissed off at you (or just wanted to win a bet with Satan), he'd kill your spouse and children and leave you alive.

In the NT, he just went off the deep end entirely. He bides his time while you're alive, then tortures you for eternity - all the while talking about "love". Absolutely psychotic.

But, of course, I don't have the Holy Spirit within me, and I'm not one of the "elect" - so I just don't get it.Jeff Eygeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11967707883565162538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882699495059104312.post-9988330752988935942010-04-11T05:10:04.821-04:002010-04-11T05:10:04.821-04:00Mike,
